LALA SEGISMUNDO
that's lala segismundo (to your right) with my daughter, carmela at the PICC front balcony section of the PICC. i met lala on the internet through the mini angels site moderated by lexi from chicago. lala and lexi and quite a few number of japanese fans have followed libera in their concerts in london, canada, US and now, the philippines.
lala is a filipina based in san francisco. she's married to a wonderful person by the name of elliot. and he's very nice to have accompanied lala on her trips to see libera. i had also the opportunity to have met lala's family. her mom, gilda benitez-segismundo is also a friend on facebook - all because of our common love for libera. during the PICC concert, lala had friends with her, from the US & here in manila. she has been promoting libera to her friends everywhere - unfortunately, two of her friends who accompany her to her libera trips could not make it to the manila concert, bonjun valera & jane gato-williams.
i have only known lala for a few months and yet she seemed to be a friend from way back. she was very kind to have mailed me spare copies of the libera programmes in canada and US. and if that was not enough, gifted me and my daughter with our libera concert tickets for our birthdays (me in august & carmela in september)! all these were done sometime august where she bought our tickets online.
it was a joy to see lala, her family and friends during sunday's concert. we couldn't talk much as there were a lot of people & lining up for autograph signing took much of our time
thank you, lala. from a friendship that started on the internet that brought a happy meet & greet at the PICC, all because of our love for our favorite choirboys.
